I heard that pomegranates were good for your skin, so I bought one... but no one demonstrated the art of how you eat it, for me. This is a complicated mess.

You can't. It's stuff that represents weird orange peel kinda.

it's actually that reddish tart pulpy casing around the seeds that you eat
i believe the seeds are also edible
so you just pop them in your mouth and chomp away ;)

in india they dry the rind and crush it into a powder
which is then used as a souring agent in cooking

I wasn't finished when I submitted that, by the way.
The inside reminds me of orange rind.
What you do is cut the very top and bottomw off, score the fruit and let it soak in water for 5 minutes. Then you just pull back on the rind, and all the little seeds come flying out.
It's very good for you.
India is scary.
