Congratulations! I always feel like the only thing that matters in a birth story is a healthy baby; I'm sorry the birth wasn't as planned but I am thrilled for your new baby and your new life!

it wasn't so much scary as it was overwhelming to lose all control over everything i anticipated/wanted/expected in my first birth experience.
i really just had to breathe through every moment and let it happen and for a type a aries like me, it was HARD. i'm so thankful my amazing husband was there, along with my doula and my midwife. i had so much support surrounding me and i'm so thankful for that.

total birth drama! you should hear my husband's take on it. it's a good 20 minute story.
i'm just glad it's over and my baby is here and healthy and perfect. :)
