i'm so behind on iver's baby book. i told r the other day that i wished baby's first year would be 730 days long so that you could have one day of being "in" it and the next to enjoy it before baby grows again

Awwwww, I feel you on the needed day of appreciation! At the end of each day, even still, I will reflect on some marvelous shit my kids did and want to process it before moving on!
Your body will totally be yours again, just wait! After I finished breastfeeding forever, I still had to give it almost a year before I felt like I was just my own self again. Hormonal balance restored, minerals and vitamins replenished, that breastfeeding backache dissipating...haha
