I saw Dan today. He came here to clean out his stuff and to officially tell the registrar that he isn't coming back. I got to eat lunch with him; which was great and yet so akward. Groups? I was not aware that I was part of a group. I have many friends from many different places, but no group. I miss Mohammed and my friends back in Rockland. When I am at home I feel like I have no friends.

i think you're looking at it from the wrong viewpoint Beautiful. We're all gonna miss dan and meredith in our own ways, but there shouldn't be a void in your heart. Even though they can't be with you, you should fill that void with all your best memories of them, and take heart in the fact that you'll still talk to them over the computer and occasionally the phone or in person. You can't look at it as losing 2 friends; they've just become farther away. No one will replace them, but cherish that they're still there for you in some tangible way, even if it's a glowing electronic screen.
