This weekend was an exceptionally good one.

Friday night's Oktoberfest in San Antonio went spectacularly well with one of our best shows in recent memory. The Dance Group put on a great performance for the Beethoven Maennerchor's festival. We'll be back there again on December 1st for the Kristkindlmarkt festival. Good times will be had. Next ( Read more... )

Yeah, when I first told John how big my unit was, he was a bit boggled. At this point, we're one person larger than a route clearance *squad.*

what days will you guys be performing? we'll be at the fair saturday!

We're performing Saturday and Sunday, twice each day.
We'll be listed as the Mazurka Polish Dancers of San Antonio. For State Fair, we opted to go Polish rather than German, and there are substantial differences between the two.

You can register for your events online at chimaeracon.com.
click the red registration link in the upper left corner of the menu, then register as a game master. Once you register your event, you have to click the red registration link again to enter a new one, or it will just take you back to the same event you just did.
Running 8 hours (two events of four hours) of events will get you into the con for the weekend for free.
All games are welcome and we're really looking for more obscure or new games. Anyone in your own gaming group looking to show off their favorite games are absolutely encouraged to register as game masters and help make the convention the best it can be.
If it helps, too... we've confirmed Howard Taylor (Schlock Mercenary) and Marc Singer (Beastmaster) as guests this year.
