X-mas presents? Save the kitty... x-mas...oh screw x-mas!
See update: I have since lost my beloved little kitten...
So I have a new foster that was dropped off at a friend's mom's house. The poor baby has/had a conjunctivitus/infected eyes, fleas, worms, black goo, and in the proces of cleaning her, a split scalp...
So damning my Christmas to hell somewhere in my subconscious, we ran her to an emergency vet open on a Sunday and spent the day waiting for her to be stitched up,etc. She is 8 weeks and so light they didn't weigh her and yet she managed to rack up $200 (without any medicine!) Got her meds and de-wormer from the shelter and you can see she's really cute under all the black goo. So this week, tiny kitty and I will be picking through my things and selling some stuff to pay her bill.
UPDATE! This is little itty bitty kitty AKA I-have-no-name-yet with my kitten Jitters. Yes, my cat is wearing a shirt....
Looking at her, doesn't it make $200 seem sooo insignificant??
