... eat it?

[Faize looks. Absolutely horrified. Way to go, there.]

Well -- yeah. Like sunny side up.

I... don't believe I am familiar with that term.

[Welp. That's... a really weird question.]

You didn't lay it, did you?

O-of course not. Eldarians are not capable of regular forms of reproduction.

Then how'd you get it?

I rescued it from a creature that had stolen it from its nest.

What are you trying to hatch?

I am not certain what manner of creature it is just yet, I'm afraid. That will have to wait until it hatches.

Different eggs need different temperatures, I would think. You should find out what it is before you try to incubate it.

Unfortunately, I am unfamiliar with many of the creatures here, so it is difficult to do so. I am certainly trying, however.

I know a bit on it for dragon eggs.

Oh? I am not certain what type of egg this is, but it certainly wouldn't hurt to know.

Yeah, my brother studies and breeds dragons back home. My best mates and I had to learn a bit on them our first year. Dunno how much use it'll be for a different shot, but it's a start, yeah?

Precisely.

Would you know a dragon egg if you saw it? Perhaps we could avoid a mishap if we could rule out what it might and might not be.

Mine seemed fine as long as I kept it under the covers.

Really? So just keeping a blanket around it should help, then?

Well, it hatched just fine, so I'd say yeah. I don't know if different kinds of eggs need different kinds of treatment though.

Well, since no one that I've spoken with thus far has been able to identify the egg, I suppose I shall just have to try keeping it warm and hope for the best.
