The first thing I would like to discuss is the third, and final, Gorgon sister, Shaula Gorgon. I can tell you right now, her "magical theme" or whatever you wish to call it is definitely scorpions. Lambda Scorpii, or Shaula, is a star in Scorpius. The one on the very end of the tip of the stinger. Shaula also means "the raised tail." There's also

This shows that Shibusen doesn't bother with making sure they do their job right. They missed one.

Akane isn't a part of the Star Clan, though. He's just related to them. In the raw when he talks about the Star Clan he says "they" (karera) broke the laws, pursued power blindly, and were in turn destroyed by Shibusen. When Akane calls the Star Clan "karera" that makes it clear that he considers them a different category than his own family and that he/his family never did any of the things that the Star Clan did.

I dunno if this was translated differently in the scanslation, but the raw makes that part really clear.

Yeah. I read a scanlation, so I guess it could have been different. The way he talks about it on the scan I read made him sound like he was talking about his family, but, if you think about it, he has a tattoo. Wasn't it mentioned somewhere that all of the members of the Star Clan had tattoos of a star?
