Thank you! Your home is so inviting. Your shapes, textures and patterns are lovely together but most of all I love the colors.

I also see you've been enjoying the peacock renaissance in decorating! I have too. Like you my choices are also based on color and drawing skill.

You have a home that I would love to be invited into and allowed to walk around and ask questions. What is it about birds that speaks to you on such a deep level? How in the world did you get those beautiful murals on your wall over the fireplace in such beautiful fashion? May I please have your peacock lamp? would be on the tip of my tongue if I was not already stuffed to the gills with lighting fixtures but should you say yes I can always make room . . .

My bedroom has a vivid peacock painting over my bed and a set of wonderful boxes of different shapes and sizes in it, too.

Most of all that I'd love to know is what is it about birds? You certainly have chosen beautiful pieces.

What is it about birds that speaks to you on such a deep level?

Honestly? No idea. I think I might just like that they make such an easily recognizable silhouette. I also like feeding and identifying real birds, just...just because, I suppose.

How in the world did you get those beautiful murals on your wall over the fireplace in such beautiful fashion?

It actually comes as a kit! You have to use transfer paper to get it on the wall, which is a pain (it took me about three hours), but very simple. Just tedious.

You have a lot of patience to do those transfers. They are worth the effort, though. That is clear.

It is fun for me to see another person who is enjoying the new interest in peacock designs. While I have seen the things available I don't know anyone who likes them as I do. I have a deeper color scheme in them that I head for than the colors you choose. Your choices fit beautifully with your rooms.

I do like your birdhouse very much.
