She's been a little mopey lately and seeking PRIVATE TIME to work out this residual mope. So any time this week after class-hours you might find her holed up in her office or her classroom with the door slightly ajar, probably working on a huge piece of mechanical what-the-heck-is-

It came from Samus's classroom. It must be her! Finding a good way to stall himself from the tedious arrangements he had planned for himself later (naughty naughty), he slooooowly wedged the door open a bit more and peeked in.
Yes, she was in there, working on... something. Deciding she knew he was there, he widened the gap and showcased his presence with a "Hi! I thought that was you making that noise!"

"Extremely huge and extremely dangerous... but I think our hero can take him down."

"Of course he can. Look how strong he is!" He tapped the winged stick figure with his crayon. "He's taken on many horrors before; this one is just another floating target." It occurred to him that Samus must have encountered one of these terrific monsters before. She must know what it can do.

"I'm not interrupting anything, am I?"

"No." She seemed to visibly relax and slouched a little in her seat. The mechanical project was forgotten about, a trail of blueprints leading up to some blank and not so blank papers with crayon drawings scrawled all over them. Tales of heroic battles and one-eyed monsters.

"But if you two are busy, I can come back later."

While it was slightly embarrassing for the ever serious Miss Aran to be caught drawing crayon monsters she saw an opportunity in this and made a very subtle dare to Falcon, one she was confident Pit would encourage.
"I'm afraid you'll need a crayon if you want to stay."
Reply
"Hold on, Captain! I'll find one for you! There's got to be another one around here somewhere...
"...Yeah! On a chair! I got red!" His arm shot into the air with great triumph.

Then Pit found the red crayon. "I don't get blue?" He mock-whined.
