It's Official

Fayetteville it is. I got the call yesterday. I fly out May 21 (have not booked the ticket yet, but that's the date), move in the 22, and start work the 23rd. Wow. What an adventure I'm going to have. Every other Sunday evening and all day Monday are my days off. I'm getting paid weekly and going to be with some pretty cool people. Sound ( Read more... )

I'll miss Mandeville millions, but honestly, another summer in that town might just do me in. The downside, no family, but also...no tan/summer by the pool...

sounds a little like the last six months of my life. except we didn't get days off. of course my experience with summer stock indicates that you will be working much, much. much harder than i did on the ship. it's gonna be great!

no i'm going to be a descent human being and listen. i'm going to be a good friend and offer words of advice. you, however, will still feel miserable. But when it's all over and you realize what a badass you are for getting through it we can have a good time trading stories and drinking beer.
