Well, I got the HR payroll clerk job!  It was actually offered to me on Friday, after a long talk with the HR Director and one of our company's VPs.  And I think it will be fun and a great opportunity to learn a new skill set.  The catch is that they want me to also keep doing my current job (inventory control).  They are paying me good money, plus

Yay, congrats!! :D Not that it's any of my business, but since you're doing both jobs (despite the inventory one being pared down a lot), are they increasing your pay for it?
