i made a shocking discovery this afternoon fabric. system of a down is on american records. all 5 of their albums have been co-produced by rick rubin. whos this u ask? the man who combined the players of rage against the machine and chris cornell to make audioslave and has published their two albums. omg ch0dz, shocking discovery. audioslave is related to soad.

cool, although its more like soad is an ancestor of audioslave, they've been around longer, its still cool though, i'm gonna listen to audioslave now to pick up on any soad sounding parts, i have noticed though that hypnotize/mezmerize are a swaying a bit more toward the mainstream hard rock, could audioslave's success be influencing this?? i say prolly cuz they're first 3 albums were a mix of metal and screamo, now they tend to sound a bit like audioslave i guess, the lyrics dont change though, and as long as those dont change they can sound as much like audioslave as they want to be
