I've been in fandom for over 10 years, and the one thing I still don't get is Transformers!mpreg.

It's not a rule 34 thing or even a YKINMK thing, it's a "how is that even possible, I thought they were made not born" thing. I mean, yes, mpreg in general obviously requires some extra suspension of belief if it's in a completely non-supernatural ( Read more... )

I haven't come across this before...I tend to stick to toys and films for Transformers but...

Since we used math and real world concepts for how to make them transform for the films...

Wouldn't it be conceivable in beings who are organic machines to develop and be able to pass on viruses with replicating abilities? Even with being machines, they have many organic traits including familial connections with similar looks which makes me think that there must be some form of DNA involved.

Now, I'm curious about Dino Bots and such...they are supposed to be replicating completely organic beings despite being made of metal and able to transform so...would they replicate the procreation processes for them?

When an Autobot and a Decepticon love each other very much...

Yeah, I'm with you. I can work around mpreg (especially in fandoms where it's canon!) but the only way I can see a Transformers get in the family way is if the somehow build another bot? I mean, they have to come from somewhere, and I would have thought it would be from the workshop...

But to have a bot actually pregnant...I don't understand it at all.
