Speaking as someone who was beaten to the ground and shot repeatedly in the ass with a BB gun-- I know your pain. Well-- sorta. The jeans shielded most of it but I didn't feel comfortable sitting for days. And my big wheel never rode right again after that either.

I can sympathize with the hips and back. When I had the blood clots, they wouldn't let me get out of bed, and I couldn't turn on either side because of all the tubes. It took less than 24 hours before I thought my lower back was going to kill me.

Unless you have access to morphine, I don't have any helpful tips. :-(
