Little Tokyo
It's weird
I bugged my parents to show me Little Tokyo the other day and I actually saw a Kanjani8 box. :|
Well not really Kanjani8 but their picture was on a little box of candies. I told my mom had it been a NEWS picture I would have bought all the boxes they had on stock and she just looked at me all weird. It also earned me a sermon about not buying things because of the people/ person who's advertising it.
Anyway, I bought some stuff and we made plans to try out some of the restaurants she there. My mom said we'll try it out on November 11 since me and my brothers already made plans to watch a movie that day. Which, if I might add throws a wrench in my plans to celebrate Tegoshi's birthday with some friends. I told her so, that we were planning on celebrating Tegoshi's birthday, but she kind of just stared at me and rolled her eyes. And no, I'm not bowing out of familial responsibility because I want to stare at some boy and she does not care how cute he is.
I think my mom thinks I'm mildly insane now.
Probably partly because I kind of asked her to look for skull accessories for me when (1) I don't wear accessories (2) certain metals kind of irritates my skin. That and I was so freakishly happy when my cousin gave me a make up kit when again (1) I don't wear make-up (2) the times when I do wear make-up I break out in rashes. I couldn't help it. It was PINK! with SKULLS! and HEARTS!
She just has to accept the fact that her only daughter is a fan girl.
In non NEWS news, I watched Boys over Flowers and for the record the story was stupid! I fully believe that the two protagonists should have been miserable and the guy from face shop should have found another girl and had been happy with her damn it! But I have a mild crush on guy from face shop now.
