its official! I have proven it! speeding saves gas! Just got back from Wichita. Usually going about 75mph it takes about 3/4 of my tank to get there. On the way back, I went 85 instead. And it took less then half! for those of you that are visual, that means normally it takes this much of my tank: 111 this time it took 11 (out of 1111). HECK YEA!

Well, people at AAA could lie to try to get us to not speed, and i think they do, but in drivers ed they're tellin us from 45 to 55 you get 20% less fuel economy, from 45 to 65 45% less, and from 45 to 70 60% less.

I think they're lying. i just thought i should bring it up.

I knew that was true. I had a sneaking suspicion about that. I know it's true in planes at certain altitudes but finally someone proved it. I'm currently working and a spreadsheet to see ,if in the long term, is it better to rent and avoid property taxes and maintainence, or buy a house and sell it with appreciation factored in. I working in 5, 10, 15 30 year time frames.
