Zillah's been keeping quiet lately--going to the library often to read, for example. Studying keeps her busy, she thinks.

But today she's out on the front porch, enjoying the nice day. The weather's been good recently, and she's decided she needs at least some sun.

She may appear lost in thought, but an interruption would be welcome.

The sun's always a bit of a weird thing to Johnny, boy of the Zone and the Underground. It's half miraculous and half terrifying to him.

He still goes, though, because someone, possibly Natalie, mentioned he should get more vitamins.

And he'll be faffing about with his jack knife, curing his nails, checking out the chick.

Of course Natalie would suggest that, hah.

Zillah realizes there's someone on the porch along with her and looks over at him.

"Uh...hi?" she says. Sorry, she's not always the greatest conversationalist. Funny that for all her political ramblings, she can't seem to talk to attractive guys.

That's quite alright, Johnny can be a total sleaze when he wants to be.

Like now.

"You're hot," he informs her, point blank.

[ichbinzillah]

All right, then. Zillah blushes deeply.

"I am?"

The thought hadn't really occurred to her.
