Long time no post, and it wasn't even intended! I've spent the past few months busy with something, be it sewing a ton for a pioneer trek, or working out in my garden. I really wish I had taken progress shots

Glad to hear that things are going well. :) About your departing co-worker: did I understand that right, (s)he was in the military until now? Does the military actually let people in the army have other part-time jobs over there?
Oh, her husband was the one in the military, but as far as I know people can have another job if they are not active military. A friend's husband is in the reserves so that he might at some point be called to active duty, he has to go through training and such, but he has a civilian job, too.
It's so nice to hear from you, and I'm glad that everything seems to be going well. I'll look forward to seeing the photos from your Pioneer Trek- it sounds like it was a wonderful experience, and I'm sure you helped make it fun for everyone!

August can't come soon enough, except for the heat I don't want. I want to see the pictures, too! I don't know how much fun I was in trying to keep the kids on task (pushing the handcart), but when we finally made it to 'Zion' and everyone was sitting around bored, I did tell them the origin of the modern-day frisbee: a pie plate. (We had them for use as plates.) Many a pie plate went flying after that, games were invented, and a lot of people joined in. That was pretty fun.
