Still making the plush creations...

It's been forever and a day since I've posted up the new offerings in my Etsy shop, and some special requests made for fun, and given the last post, I think it's time for something a bit cheerier. So, here's what I have been up to for the past year, plush-wise:

This Osprey was made as a gift for a friend, based on a Dungeons and Dragons character's animal companion:

I decided to see if I could finally make the plush Zanaffar I always wanted, and turns out, I could! Sadly, no silver fleece exists yet to properly capture its beautiful hide. ;)

Milgasia/Gold Dragon plush from Slayers, because why not?

I never mentioned that I saw and loved Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, and I have to agree with my oldest brother, it's the best Harry Potter movie, considering it doesn't feature Harry Potter. ^_- ^_- ^_- Also, the Niffler was adorable, so I tried to plushify it.

I visited the La Brea Tar Pits last year, so I was inspired to make plushes of ancient mammals. Fun!

This past week I was asked if I could recolor my Gryphon plush to look like Trico, from the PS4 game, The Last Guardian. Considering how neat Trico looks, a mere recolor wouldn't do it justice! It got the plush treatment instead.

Another D&D buddy asked if I could make a regular, run-of-the-mill field mouse plush. Turns out, yes, I can!

This one is for an old coworker who no longer lives in the area, but is coming for a visit soon. She wanted to know if I could make a Corgi plush based on her two Corgis. This is the first, I still need to make the second.

Current project is making a dolphin hand puppet for the two D&D friends mentioned previously in this post, as they are going as Archer characters to a convention this next week. I don't watch Archer, but it's hard to turn down a request, as more often than not, I learn I can make things I would have never thought I could make! It's been fun, and a nice diversion from dwelling on Lincoln being gone. I still miss you, my silly fluff.
