well it looks like thanks to a friend on my LJ I think I am going to start a My consulting service as I have been ask multiple times to do some side projects... Well anyways how should I go about advertising / building a client base ?
I will be doing databse consulting, mainly switching closed source ms SQL and informix systems into open source my sql systems, I also want to give it a try with oracle when i have some time to give that one a try... The cost reduction and stability of the my sql platform are a very good point to using it... not to mention multi core efficiency. I also may give a try to help small data centers go green.
