Some people have many names for many reasons- most have their given name- Michael in my case- and a name shared among members of their family, again in my case, Blanc.

My friends also call me Michel... I think that got started as revenge for giving one guy the nickname "Alto-hime".

You called a man "princess?"

Why?

That's a woman's title, isn't it?

It's to tell people apart, in case they share one name.
