Geez. That's like my entire college diet.

And I'm losing weight. >.>;

Probably because I have to BUY all the food and therefore eat less of it, plus I swim for an hour twice a week and try to do a little tai chi every day.

And I have a genetically fast metabolism. ^_^;;

So uh. I suck on teh dietage.

Keeping track of calories really is the best way. Carbs and all that crap don't mean a blooming thing and Atkin's diet really is TERRIBLY unhealthy. My parents went on Weight Watchers which is more calorie based and you actually LEARN healthy eating habits. Plus the food is good. X3

awe you are so smart.. actually, though, weight watchers is a starvation diet, as well.. most women don't eat over 1300 calories!! you need at least 1700-1800 to function, imo.

It never struck me as a starvation diet. o.O They eat all meals. *shrugs* It's just kept on a point system, PLUS they have so many extra points per week that they can use to splurge on a dessert or two. But the deal is... To lose weight you HAVE to eat fewer calories than whatever it takes to make you function in order to use up some of your stored energy. Once you're down to a correct weight, you balance it out and eat how you're supposed to. *shrugs* Least that's how I think it works. >.>

yes..you have to eat less..but most ppl have NO idea how many they actually do it.. which is probably actually around 3000..and u'd think they'd be a lot fatter than america is.. but to gain a lb you have to eat 3500 calories MORE than you burn in a day. and most people burn 2000 or more by living.. so they'd have to eat over 5000 calories to gain a lb of actual fat.. so they don't need to cut as many calories as they think they do... just a lower numbers looks better for people who have no idea.

Good luck with the diet thing! I could never manage a diet/cutting down on junk food. (Then again, I work with fast food...) Yay Chinese! I did that for homecoming.
