Taemin smiled, stretching his arms above his head and inhaling. The air in New Zealand was so much cleaner than back in South Korea, and he wanted to get as much of it as he could before he had to return home. SHINee had been sent to New Zealand for a photo shoot on one of it’s largest farms. Seeing as Taemin had never been outside of South Korea, he was really excited when their manager told them about the shoot. He hadn’t expected to see such a beautiful scenery. It was like a dream land.

Taemin turned slowly, admiring the vast, green field and the soft blue sky. He could see a small well not to far away from where he was standing, but it didn’t look like it had been used in quite a while. The clouds seemed to be so low that if he raised his arm high enough, the cotton-candy like substance would graze his thin fingers. A slight breeze passed by, ruffling Taemin’s raven-black hair and leaving it in disarray. Luckily, he finished his shoot for the day or the stylists would have to fuss at his hair for fifteen minutes and he hated that.

Taemin was dressed in clothing fit for the weather, warm but not to snug. He wore a black and white striped long-sleeved shirt and a black vest with a hood. His jeans were tight but loose enough for him to run about if he wanted, and on his feet were yellow shepherd boots.

Taemin heard Jinki not too far away, who had just finished his shoot and was thanking the staff for the hard work. Spotting Taemin, he jogged ungracefully over to where the boy was standing with a bright smile on his features. Although Jinki was the oldest of the group, no one could tell. He was the clumsy and always messed up during practice for upcoming performances, but Taemin couldn’t ask for a better leader. Even though he messed up the most, Jinki always wore the biggest smile of encouragement on his face. Taemin admired him the most out of the other members. He never felt like the youngest around the other boy.

“ Isn’t it beautiful out today?,” Jinki said while spreading his arms out and inhaling deeply, his shirt flapping about with the breeze.

The leader wasn’t dressed as warmly as Taemin, wearing a light sleeveless shirt with colored stripes that reminded Taemin of the beautiful New Zealand sunset. He wore a light tan fedora on his head in which his brown hair stuck out of in all sorts of angles and dark blue jeans that were similar to Taemin’s. Jinki also wore shepherd boots but his were a gray-blue color.

Taemin smiled at Jinki’s care-free attitude towards life and nodded in agreement.

Even though they were only in New Zealand for work, Jinki still managed to enjoy the trip as if it were a vacation.

“ So, want to go on an adventure?,” Jinki asked, his eyebrows raised in excitement.

“ Where to, hyung?,” Taemin asked curiously, wondering where Jinki would take him.

“Well, Kibum and the rest still haven’t finished their shoots so we could just roam until it’s time to come back,” Jinki shrugged, turning towards the dirt road that led further into the field.

“ Let’s take the bike,” he said smiling his brightest smile and began walking towards the shed. Taemin nodded and waited patiently for him to return, a small smile on his lips.

“ Ocean, ocean! Look!,” Taemin said, pointing at the blue mass behind the forest trees.

He skipped to a stop and waited a moment for Jinki to catch up with the red bike and pointed in that direction again. Jinki glanced at the trees while holding his hat in place, not wanting the wind to take it up in it’s breeze.

“Ah, I see it! It’s beautiful. New Zealand’s such a good place,” Jinki said and sighed in content.

“ Hm,” Taemin nodded and started walking up the road again.

Jinki pedaled slowly behind him, careful not to leave the youngest behind since they were both in an unknown place and he didn’t want neither of them to get lost.

The two boys continued like this until the light blue sky darkened, Jinki pedaling and Taemin pointing out all the wonders of their Dreamland. It was peaceful and calm yet fulfilling and the boys had lost themselves in their excitement. The sheep were now being herded back into their dens, they appeared to be scurrying white tufts crowding together from where Jinki and Taemin were.

“ We should get back now. I bet Kibum’s having a fit,” Jinki laughed, mocking Kibum and his motherly tendencies.

Taemin giggled and hopped onto the seat of the bike. Jinki leaned forward and began pedaling, holding onto his hat. Taemin shivered a bit and pulled his vest snug around him. The breeze was a bit colder now but Jinki seemed unaffected, a huge grin on his lips. The bike squeaked from the strain of carrying two people but Jinki was sure it wouldn’t fall apart. Taemin yawned, tired from his adventure and slightly hungry.

“ I guess this is the end of our Dreamland, huh?” Jinki said, glancing over his shoulder at the raven-haired boy behind him.

Taemin sighed and leaned forward to rest his head against Jinki’s back, closing his eyes with a smile on his lips.
