Beating up old men...

...Was never so much fun. Really, you'd think I hadn't been studying Japanese for three years when you see the cud-chewing blank looks some people make when you give orders in Japanese. What works? Pushin' em. Yeaaah. *Oku kara osuwari kudasaimase~~~~~~!!!* (please sit from the end ( Read more... )

The (IN)Famous Ekberg Finger Dance anonymous April 28 2005, 02:05:49 UTC
I'm laughing hysterically, picturing you doing that little finger dance in an effort to be entertaining to 200+ Japanese. (Dah da da da da Dah da da da) I'm also curious Why in the World that would occur to you at that moment? Also, am wondering if the finger dance actually helped?

Too Funny!

Well, it actually emerged in the "making fun of president bush while upholding the pavilion integrity" sequence, in which I was twidling my thumbs and trying to speak Japanese in a similar fashion to the way he speaks English, which was naturally ridiculous and at least mildly entertaining!

They love Indian food! And now so do I! If I knew housing shit, I'd love to tell ya. I have no idea what Sandy still wants to do, right now I'm with 3 random chicks in South quad, wondering what happened to my Preston and CGC applications. Housing won't write back to me! AARRGG! Rambling in Japanese is surprisingly easy, since most sounds you blurt out are at least some kinda word--that and they find HAKUJIN *koff* white people *koff* quite amusing.

I'll be Japan until the end of June! You?
It all depends really, if the Japanese involved is talking about the Mars Rover, or ordering a drink, then yes ...

That would be awesome, I haven't been to Tokyo since the very first of the year...and that was during Oshogatsu--a very different city then.

I hope that you and Sandy still live in Preston next year. The second floor is going to be wicked awesome! I like your entertainment story. I wish I could be able to do something like that (be entertaining in time of need that is). I am excited to see you back at school next year. We need to do some tanning, lol.

P.S. I am finally done with finals, and I am now peacefully at home. Well, however peaceful box upon box sorting is...

P.S.

That was me, Katie.

And by that, I mean, "I am Katie, and I made the last post... my name must have escaped me."

I really don't mind wherever I end up anymore, Preston's not the same being run by rule herr nazis tho. But after being in Sims first year, I'll miss having the crazies up at all hours (and less of the sound of hair dryers at 5 am!) How did exams go for ya? Hell, how is Preston?

Hehe, I've been working on a bit of color (shhh, don't tell you-know-who), we actually had an old woman blurt out something random and put her umbrella in the ground to shade us. Its not so much laying around in suits as it is the Japanese being TOTALLY anti-sun. It's so funny seeing scads of umbrellas pop up on a perfectly sunny day when we stop our pavilion line in the queue outside.
