Free games?

My mom is looking for a good site or something that has games you can DL onto your computer.  She's gonna have her tiny laptop on a long trip :) any ideas?

I would say go to download.com and search for shareware, those are always free

There's this independent game making community site here ( http://tigsource.com/ ) which contains a whole bunch of little stuff, ranging from very amateurish to pretty damn well done.

Also, if you don't mind paying a little, Peggle and Bejeweled (From PopCap) are extremely cheap, and stupidifyingly addictive.

If she likes console games or anything, my netbook is full of SNES/Genesis/etc ROMs. You can usually find them on piratebay or isohunt.com
