Welcome to My Dorm
Welcome to my dorm room! I'm on the third floor of Routt of Scripps! It's a bit of a walk to get up here, but the view out the window makes it worth it! As you can see, we have a bulletin board/whiteboard on out door if you need to leave us a message, and on the left as you walk in is our sink/bathroom area.
The sink/bathroom area is a little cramped, but it's quaint. There's lots of drawers for me and my two roommates. The door goes to a shared bathroom.
As you enter the main part of the room, you'll see (the back of) Dani's (one of my roommates) dresser, Dani's bookcase, and our bunk bed. Dani sleeps on top and I sleep on the bottom. Near the window is my desk.
Here's a close-up of my desk, which is (in my opinion) the most important part of the entire room. As you can see, it's right in front of the room, which has a stunning view of the courtyard and beautiful Spanish style roofs. We keep the window open all the time because it's so pretty out there. On the windowsill are my figurines, and to the far-left (out of the picture) is Dani's desk. The printer and scanner are on top of my dresser, and my laptop is a functional but rather old thing. However, I really like it. To the right of my laptop is my external harddrive with all my files (mostly music). You can tell from all the cords under the desk i'm a bit of a technology-freak; I have over 7 things plugged into the back of my computer in the USB jack (I had to buy 2 USB hubs to compensate for it). I have a little webcam on top of my laptop, and of course, my precious Pikachu alarm clock!
And to our left, we have my bookshelf, and Corey's (my other roommate) bed. Isn't it colourful? The box is stuff I plan to take back home soon or things I need to return. In the back is Corey's desk, and under her bed (in an open area provided by lofting the bed slightly) are her dresser and bookcase.
And, finally, this is my bed. I have alot of pillows, and sleeping is like resting on clouds. It's quite relaxing. As you can tell, I don't really make my bed, but it's still very comfortable. On top of the whole mess are my pajamas. Theres also an Ed pillow (Full Metal Alchemist), a stuffed fat cat (named Futo; a gift from Taylor), and Taylor's camo jacket. On teh wall is my V for Vendetta poster and my Bakuretsu Tenshi (Burst Angel in America) poster. I also have bunny slippers!
