i tried using it .i downloaded all 4 parts for it .and converted the 1st one and it works .but the other 3 parts cant be found in the files i open under the software .help please .thanks .:D

what video is it?
and also.. u really cant see the other parts (002 003 and so on)
only 001 will appear in HJsplit. just click it and all parts will be joined once u click the START button ^^

Which video were you downloading?

Referring to step 6 onwards, you didn't rename any of the downloaded file parts before joining the video with HJSplit, did you? Otherwise that wouldn't work.

You would only file the first file (as stated in step 9), the HJSplit program would automatically locate rest of the file parts to join them all together to give you a full .avi video.

Tell me if I didn't answer your question or you are still having problems. Print screens would be great too sent to the e-mail address above to work out your problem.

sorry, i have another problem .cause the previous time i went to change the program for a .004 file type to open in another program .and therefore, now, whenever i download .004 file type the hjsplit cannot join it in .any idea how to change the .004 back to unknown application .im currently using window vista, i tried ways like using association zip but they indicates that the .004 doesnt exist, but it do appears in my control panel .help please .thanks .:D

the only way u can solve this is to redl the 004 split part.. and pls put it in the exact location of the other splits in your computer ^^
