I haven't made a post in awhile and it's kinda sad that this is the first one I make right after Christmas but I really need to get this whole scandal stuff off my chest, so here you go.

just popping by to say - yes to all that and more. i'm not in the fandom thick of things because i only follow seven people on twitter and you guys here on LJ are miraculously similar to me in terms of thought, so i'm very much unaffected by the fandom stupid.

i've been fangirling Arashi since 2003. the number of scandals since then... the years, added up, have taught me to love them like they're my babies, lol. not literally, but basically i mean i just love them, warts and all. i've become this mum, this auntie figure, lol. i have nothing bad to say about them because there is no point. they are old enough to make their choices, and they love enough for me to cherish them more than reject them. :D

*Sigh* I know I should ignore these things but it's hard to when people all but slap you in the face with them y'know? I'll make it my New Year's resolution to stop caring so much how about that haha.

Anyways, I know what you mean. I haven't been following them for nearly as long as you have (omfg 2003 you go girl) but they already mean a lot to me and I can't help but feel protective of them. Especially considering how ungrateful, petty and judgemental some fans are, it's almost like they forget Arashi are actual flesh and bone men.
I feel your words on a spiritual level tbh no kidding lol.
