Summary: He was a heartless slayer, and he shouldn't fall for a vampire.
He was raised as a a slayer, taught to be heartless since the beginning.
He never minded that, he was used to it anyway. But not until the day fate let him to meet that creature.
That creature had the same figure as a normal human, but Kwanghee knew-experience taught him-that he wasn’t. He’s just too beautiful with that pale white skin and red lips to be a human. That bewitching bloody red eyes; he knew that he’s not human.
He’s vampire.

“Human,” That vampire whispered when Kwanghee approached him. This one was different, he didn’t even show any fear like the other vampires he had killed before. Instead, he stood still and kept watching Kwanghee. Inviting him to come closer.
“Not just a normal human.” Kwanghee replied. He’s not stupid-he kept a safe distance from that creature; one of his hands tries to reach his gun.
“Slayer.” That beautiful creature smirked when he saw the gun. It’s the creepiest yet most beautiful smirk Kwanghee ever seen. “How did you find me?”
“My instinct guides me to come here.” Kwanghee replied again. Weird, he’s never had such a talk with the others he had been killed before. But with him, Kwanghee feel the urge to do so.
“Tell me, how many of us that you have killed?” The vampire asked; breezy wind blew his soft hair.
“Why would you want to know?” Kwanghee asked back.
“How do you feel every times you kill?” The vampire asked, ignoring Kwanghee’s question. “Satisfied? Happy?”
“Why would you want to know about those things?” Kwanghee firmly repeated his question. “You’re just trying to prolong your time.”
“Why would I?” He simpered. “Because life bores me so, and I want to know the details of my death process…”
Kwanghee snorted. Weird creature.
“It feels nothing. Nothing at all.” Kwanghee said; he pointed up his gunpoint. “Now it’s the time for you to die.”
The vampire smiled; a sad smile. “Go on.”
Kwanghee walked closer, his gunpoint been raised upward.
“Any last word?” Kwanghee asked.
Those red eyes looked deep into Kwanghee’s eyes, and after a while he closed them and smiled. “Thank you.”
Thank you?
For the first time in his life, he received a thank you for assassinating someone’s life. He should have begged for mercy, wasn’t it? At least that’s what his victims usually did.
He put down his gun. “I changed my mind. I don’t want to kill you.”
“Why?”
“I don’t want to make you happy.” Kwanghee coldly said. He put back his gun. Something’s weird, he could feel his heart paced up when those deep bloody eyes stared at him.
“Kill me.” The vampire commanded him. “Help me to end this endless life.”
“Why would I?”
“Because…” The vampire gazed up, his pupil narrowed-giving a creepier feel. “I don’t want to kill any more people. I’m tired to spend my life; killing all those innocent people.”
“We’re on the same boat,” Kwanghee murmured. “We’re sinful people.”
“Yeah.” The vampire smiled painfully. “But I envy you, because you feel nothing when you kill. We, vampire, are able to feel the emotions consist in the blood we suck.” He smirked and took a step closer to Kwanghee. “But we could not express anything. It hurts.”
“What are you going to do?” Kwanghee stepped back.
“If you’re not going to kill me, then let me just do it by myself.” He said. His slim fingers sneaked into the case and managed to get the gun.
“Silver bullets.” He murmured. “Does it really kill?”
“Y-you can’t…” Kwanghee tried to get back his gun; but of course he failed. The vampire in front of him was too fast. “You’re a pure blood.”
“I am not.” The vampire smiled weakly. “But being close with a pure blood really gives you benefits.”
The two of them stared at each other. Heavy silence filled the air between them.
“Give it back to me.” Kwanghee firmly instructed. “You don’t want me to slaughter you.”
“It’s too late.” The vampire aimed the gun at his temple. “Sayonara…”
A loud bang fills the air. A second later, the slayer’s body collapsed onto the grass field.
“Why?”The vampire sadly asked. “Why did you prevent me from killing yourself? See what you got…”
“I’m the only one who can kill you…” Kwanghee said. What have he just done? Aiming his gun to his own chest was definitely a stupid act. But he had to do it-he just had to.
“How can you kill me when you’re the only one who is going to die?” The vampire murmured. “Human is weird.”
“You’re the one who make me like this…” Kwanghee said; his breath panted as blood kept flowing from his chest. “I-I didn’t even know why I d-did this either…”
“Who’s your name, Mr. Slayer?”The vampire bent and rubbed Kwanghee’s chest with his finger. Blood smeared on the tip of his finger.
“Kwanghee…” He answered. He’s going to die soon, he knew it. But weirdly, he felt safe and peaceful when the vampire touched him. He felt no fear at all.
“Kwanghee…” The vampire repeated. “I’m sorry.”
“If you’re sorry, then you have to keep alive.” Kwanghee said, for the first time of his live, he smiled. “I’m the only slayer that can kill you.”
“Sure.” The vampire smiled weakly. “How can you kill me?”
“I’ll come back. I will…” Kwanghee panted. “…definitely come to find you. Until then, you cannot kill yourself.”
His sight getting blur, and that was the last thing he remembered. The next moment, the slayer died in front of the beautiful creature that took his…heart.
Yes, that heartless slayer just understood what he really felt.
“Stupid Kwanghee…” The vampire murmured; he stared at the slayer’s unmoving body sadly. For the first time of his life, he was able to shed tears.
He licked the blood on his finger’s tip and laughed painfully. It's Kwanghee’s blood, and vampires had the ability to sense the emotion of their victims.
“Why did you have to love me?” He cried and laughed at the same time. "A vampire like me does not deserve your human's affection."
He then stood up, staring sadly at the corpse. "You've promise me you'll come." He whispered. "I will wait until that day come."
The vampire vanished within the dark night. Now he only had to endure until his salvation day has come. Alone.
