Aw, birdy. You would have to train him not to bite so hard. I met a bird at a pet shop once, and he was awesome, but I can't remember what species he was anymore. I think he cost $500-something. Bummer.
I remember when you came across that little pure white parakeet in the mall; it was in that bin with all the others, and people were grabbing at them, and the birds were afraid, but that one was calm and let us hold it. Bird can have their naturally long life spans drastically shorted by the use of non-stick cookware, smoke, incents, sented candles, air fresheners, fumes from household cleaners and strong perfumes, and in short, any chemical or natural substance in the air other than air. You'd have to have your own place and be very careful if you wanted a bird. This bird was also 500 dollars. African Greys, which I really want, are 2k.
Oh yeah, I remember that bird. I wanted that bird. I like getting to hold animals. >^_^<
I don't think I really want a bird though. I'm not sure I could keep up with the care they require. It would probably be something I could only put the effort into if I met one that really liked interacting with me and could have that special kind of connection with, you know?
