I need to rant...I ordered a monofin (a swim fin that lets you swim like a dolphin) from SwimOutlet dot com and instead they sent me a waterproof casing for an ipod and waterproof headphones. I don't have an ipod and I hate wearing headphones. 50 dollars down the drain and I don't get my monofin, something I've wanted for years but it's hard to ( Read more... )

Aww.

Personally, I think a person would have to be insane to risk exposing an ipod to water anyway. Screw waterproof crap. That never works for anything else. Geez, if they wanna go play in some water, just deal with a little technology separation. Yuck.

*hugs* Sorry to hear this happened. Maybe it was an honest shipping crossed-orders mistake. Are they going to replace it with the monofin you ordered? Oh yeah, get a tracking number when you send the package back! Keep all the little slips of paper, and periodically go to the website of whatever shipping service you use (most likely usps.com), and punch in the number. Keep print-outs of the package's progress. That way you'll have some proof for complaining about this in whatever capacity you need to, whether you can get your credit card company to reclaim the funds or what, I'm not sure how that works. Make sure you have all your printed order paper-work from making the order in the first place. >^_^< .
