Joan Jett=ONE of my TRUE HEROES!!! (she doesn't need to be a heroine she kicks all the guy's asses!)
They were only teenagers but they were THE GIRLS WHO KICKED ROCK&ROLL ASS! Joan Jett & Cherie Currie were/ ARE absolutely PHENOMENAL!! The Runaways are my favorite band of all time, and if you don't know them, you should look them up.
Anna Tsuchiya is one fierce singer, she makes her music ROCK and PRETTY!! She's one of my favorite Japanese artists.
Amy Lee is in a league all on her own, not only does she have a POWERhouse voice, she's gorgeous too!
I really enjoy Paramore and Hayley Williams is one of those down to earth girls who sings it like it is, she's dorky and funny.
I ultimately respect and adore Lacey Mosley-Sturm, she's one of the rare people who can give voice to music that has to do with religion, I HEART her style! (& i love flyleaf but i hate praise bands...)
I ABSO-FUCKING-LUTELY LOVE CHERIE CURRIE!!! Nobody in the world has a voice like hers and she is such an amazing and strong woman, who is so very talented and an inspiration to so many people, in a different way than her best friend Joan Jett. Cherie is someone who I consider to be a good role model for people who end up in tough situtations but continue to follow their dreams, no matter what anyone else says.
