Title: Inevitable wounds

Summary: Renji is injured in battle
The sight of Renji’s body crashing to he ground fills me for a moment with panic. What if he’s hurt badly? What if he dies? What if I never get to hold him again? How will Ichigo and I go on without him? Could we? Or would we just fall apart without him? Can any two of us survive without the third? Not easily, I would think. But, he moves, and the panic passes as quickly as it came and I can turn my attention back to the battle at hand. Everything will be fine as long as Renji’s ok.
Also, I'm working on a longer fic. Barring something major happening I should have the first chapter up before christmas.
