Well Sara! It happens to everyone trust me. Of course it's much easier and relaxing not to do work. Like tonight I should really be doing some homework I had planned on doing and instead I am wasting hours by watching TV/Internet etc... *sigh*

But once you make yourself start, you usually get into it. It's the starting that's hard. Anyway! Everyone knows you're a genius :) So just push yourself to start working on it and then it'll come out easy!

story of my life. i took myself back to counseling recently because i can't stop hating myself, partially exactly for this reason... i'm always likely soon trying something for ADD/ADHD (idek the details honestly, but i definitely need something).

i kind of lj-stalked someone from a post they made in a community yesterday, and their newest entry was about this very topic. they listed all the problems the meds were remedying for them, and... i just couldn't help but feel like i was reading about ME. (p.s. if you want to read it, too, their username is lucky bastard eevee ( ... )

you are an amazing academic, you just get sidetracked. it happens to a lot of us.

I find it helps if you keep a schedule. like everday at 6pm, I'm going to write for 30 minutes.

Every night I spend 30 minutes reading the Dao de Ching or Hagakure. I try to keep on the same time, so it becomes a good habit.
