Really, really, cold. I was wearing a sweater in class, and my top half was almost warm enough, but my legs were cold, inside my pants. Moreover, my feet were cold, inside my shoes and socks. It's cold enough to wear a sweater during the day, in the sun (the air is still really cold). Most evenings it's cold enough to see your breath. It's ( Read more... )

I don't mean to sound snarky here, but, no it's not. It's not cold there. It is, however, cold here. Here's my weather forecast for Saturday: "Day: Snow likely in the morning...then snow...rain... freezing rain and sleet in the afternoon. Snow accumulation likely. Some ice accumulation possible. Highs in the lower 30s. Northeast winds 10 to 15 mph. Chance of precipitation 100 percent. Night: Snow...rain and freezing rain in the evening...then snow. Moderate snow accumulation possible. Ice accumulation possible. Lows in the lower 20s. North winds 10 to 15 mph. Gusts up to 35 mph after midnight. Chance of precipitation 100 percent."

Now that's cold. -Jacob

It's even colder there, but it's colder here than I would like it to be.

Snow isn't for living in, it's for going to visit and play in, then come home from.

I know how you feel, to some extent. I was going to a play with a group from campus, and I'm not used to this area, so I forgot to take my sweater. I was in a tshirt and jeans. Turns out we waited in line for about half an hour, outside, in the cold. My main thought was "If I survive this I'm going to get five pairs of gloves for Christmas."
