Thank you so much, dear! I'm curious as to how you came across this fic because not very many people read it/I haven't posted it in a lot of places. I'm so glad you enjoyed it because it was a pleasure to write. I haven't written a sequel yet, but it's on my to-do list perhaps for this years nextgen fest.

Goodness!! How come I've not read this yet?! This is such an incredibly entertaining read! It has the right amounts of fluff, angst (just a tad... thank god!), drama and humour!

In most next gen fics I've read (which admittedly isn't much because for some reason, I'm too old-fashioned and refuse to stop shipping H/D or my other fave pairings of Harry's and Draco's generation) I've never liked Lily. At least not much. James, Albus Severus, Scorpius, Teddy and Rose are usually my favourites. But your Lily is too lovely to not adore! And Albus Sev/Scorpius is perfect!

My whole reasoning behind it was exactly what you said-- that I always hated Lily in next gen fics. I wanted to make her flawed but likable. The fact that you enjoyed it so much made writing it worth it, and if the nextgen fest happens again next year perhaps I'll write an H/D sequel. Lily and Rose need to set up Harry/Draco now.

... I do hope the pesky bit of "receding hairline" doesn't make an appearance in that fic, should you decide to really write a sequel to this with Harry and Draco in it. I just... I know it's an odd thing to dislike but... but... I like to imagine that Draco has more Black genes in him from Narcissa than Malfoy genes :)

Edit: No, this fic is really happening. I don't know when since I don't know if the nextgenfest will happen again since literaryspell left, but I hope there is some other type of nextgenfest that I can write it for.

haha I take it back to what I said in my email about squicks. Draco's receding hairline is my main Squick. It won't stop me from reading a fic, but it makes me really, really sad. You know that I have a hair obsession. Besides, as much as I love JK Rowling, her knowledge of genetics is non-existent. I think she researched everything except for that if not James wouldn't have head brown eyes, but that's a different debate.

I swear the only reason she had Draco lose his hair is so us fangirls would stop squeeing over him.
