As most of you know, I've recently rejoined the HP fandom after several years away. It's been difficult to get back into writing, but I completed my first longish HP fic in years for the ron_draco_fest.   It's the first time I ever wrote Ron/Draco and the pairing was a challenge. I won't pretend that it's the best story I've ever written. However, I'm proud that

And I totally know what you mean about writing some HP after being away from fandom. I'm working on piece for HP Rarefest and cannot wait to finish it. Plus like you it's a new pairing for me so, it's an extra writing muscle to use.

There is one kiss at the very end, which is why I said mostly pre-slash. Don't feel obligated to read if you think it will make you feel uncomfortable. Or skip the kiss. lol.

I wanted to join the HP rarefest, but my DTH fic has taken a lot longer than I thought it would. What pairing are you writing for the rare pair fest? H/D is my fav, but I can read almost any pairing. I'm not easily squicked. = D

Draco/Ron won't make me uncomfortable. It might however make me always be like "where is Harry" "why isn't Harry *insert Draco/Harry cliche* happening" lol

I can't tell you about my pairing because then it won't be anonymous lol. So far (that have been announced) there's only 5 femmeslash and mine is a femmeslash pairing sooo....

It's been fun to have a productive hobby for a change. And I agree, I haven't read too much Ron/Draco before the fest, but now I really like the pairing.
