Has anyone ever thought to ask if this world was normal once? Before bad luck curses and monstrous spiders--perhaps five years ago, perhaps ten. My world was normal ten years ago, before the Gates appeared...so I have to wonder.
Were there ever natives of this place? Was there land beyond the barrier?
I'm just curious. There's no need to take me too seriously.
