Less assumption more question. I've sort of been known to do that but not today. The City giveth and the City taketh...or something that's with giving and taking like Christmas.

Anyway, I thought since I'm less than rawr it could be a curse.

The Cathedral is one of the older edifices in the City, isn't it?

There are many stores about, although I haven't had to replace hardware in my own living space as of yet...
