[ action for Stone Street ]

[Tonight, the hypnotic sound of female drone laughter emanates at almost regular intervals from 458 Stone Street. Well you see, this town thinks it's in 1950's America. And even if you could get a cell phone, you wouldn't be able to call outside of town. We're kinda cut off here.

[Across the street, there's a quick flash of movement in the dark.

At a second glance, the neighboring yard looks empty, save for one short standing tree. The leaves rattle a bit as a light breeze blows through.]

The movement draws November's attention, sets him staring intently at the yard next door. After a moment, he pitches his voice to carry.]

A friendly neighbor? Just when I thought this place couldn't get any more charming.

Then Hei drops from the tree. He's plainly in sight, but doesn't say anything.]

[November tilts his head a little and regards Hei in almost amiable silence. Almost.

He smiles. It's a wary and slightly mocking expression, but not as smug or cruel as the others he's shown Hei in the past.]
