Erg!!! That article and the picture with it is absolutely sick making. I hate this whole media and celebrity obssession with aiming to obliterate any piece of fat on a woman's body. I just don't know how anyone could find it attractive, looking at people that thin makes me feel as ill as I'm sure they must be (either physically and or mentally ( ... )

I certainly don't go for women like that AT ALL. I think it's kind of horrible, actually...not natural! Or healthy! *likes being a 10 on top and a 12 below, and is happy that way*

It scares me - if one of those women got food poisoning and couldn't eat for a few days, she'd be in serious medical trouble! There's no way they have any sort of energy reserves to cope with any disruption to their food routine.

I much prefer women shaped like women who enjoy real food!

>do people really find women like that attractive.

No. Real people don't. Crazy style-obsessed LA junkies might.

To shamelessly nick an idea from PVP - Marilyn Monroe (who was, don't forget, voted 'Number One Sex Star of the 20th Century' by Playboy magazine in 1999 and 'Sexiest Woman of the Century' by People Magazine in the same year) was a size 18.

Real men like women to look like women. And that's the truth.

that's an urban legend - she was more likely only the equivalent of a modern size 12.

yeah, but what size was everyone else (in the industry anyway) at the time?

Oh well. I'm wrong. Shows what happens when you rely on perceived wisdom!

Anyway, she looked like a proper woman, not one of the wraith-like stick figures you posted pictures of - that's why men liked her!

Healthy women are attractive. Size 0 women are not healthy. Ergo, ... :)

I would much, much rather be with a girl who had a healthy, curvy figure. I certainly wouldn't want to be with someone who put their image before their health. If you hug a girl and it feels like she's going to snap in half, then something's probably wrong...

(Plus, on a more personal note, unless you've drastically changed since last time I met you, you have a healthy, normal and attractive figure, so I wouldn't worry about it.)

guys - women don't starve themselves to look good for men. any anorexia sufferer can tell you that maybe it starts off like that, but in the end has nothing to do with that. they know full well that guys like things to hold on to. i don't understand it myself - it's an illness and if you don't have it, it's hard to comprehend what's going on.

what irritates me is people (specially certain exes) trying to force kebabs down my throat because I don't weigh enough in their eyes - leave me alone this is my normal shape. (remembering lard arse rant from a few days ago, feeling sheepish now)
