why is buying a large rucksack so difficult??

do i buy a proper technical pack for £80-100 and then a £20 cover for flying
or
do i buy a travel pack for £120-150 which come with detachable daysack and protection cover for the straps?

Well, mine cost 80 with a detachable daysack and a cover that zipped onto the back to hide the straps so those sound expensive to me!!!
