Wow. Another bit of my ignorance that I've thankfully lost. I'd been under the impression (as I'm sure pretty much everyone else in the U.S. was) that all this U.S. law not applying in Guantanamo, blah, blah, blah stuff was thanks to W. wow thats really interesting. Guantanamo is really a disgrace to everything Amrica is supposed to stand for if u think about it. There's actually a petition you can sign at this great activism website i found. It's called ActforChange. Here's the url: http://www.workingforchange.com/activism
