I've just finished another book. Richard Clarke's Against All Enemies is, in my opinion, a must read. It made me sick how he was this "bulldog" for the right, but when he spoke out via this book, suddenly he was to be discredited and not listened to. I knew when the attacks first happened, and they were still speculating who was behind them, that we would end up at war with Iraq. I kept trying to tell people before Bush was even appointed the presidency. But now I'm babbling. No kidding. I have a friend who I think needs to be forced to read it... the thing that's good is that it provides an arguement for those who are okay with the rhetoric about going to war, blah, blah, blah. It's hard to really write the guy (Clarke, not Bush) off. Plus, some of the stuff with the FBI is really funny even if it's also quite disturbing. And the subtle sarcasm he uses just makes it funnier.
