yikes! it does sounds painful! keep the wound clean. apply detol cream or try aloe vera. u can get the gel in a tube from guardian. its called Jorubi.

no way, cream for this sort of wound only makes it worse. already washed with Dettol and it's got antiseptic. so now it's all about letting it heal.. painful though. looks better today already ..

Ouch! Take care girlie! By the way, I think you were very brave. I would have let my wound rot before I even attempt to inflict that amount of pain on myself. :P

I would have fainted clean away. What you don't know won't hurt you. Kinda like general anaesthesia. ;p

aww well, andrew has this bike friend called bruce and he fell once and the wound got stitched up before getting cleaned out properly and it got really really infected that they had to tear the wound open again. horrifying story enough to make you want to do it there and then before anything goes wrong.. plus you shld have seen the amt of pus dripping out of my knee... eurrgh
