mnemonic three.

[All that's seen right now is the profile of a guy in a black coat, sitting on the edge of a rooftop. Some strands of red hair are seen but his face is mostly out of screen. His fingers, on the other hand, are the focal point of the video.

Snap. Fire. Snap. No fire. Snap. Fire. It continues in this pattern over and over for a few minutes before he begins to speak, the sound of his snapping being drowned out by his voice.]

A mnemonic, or mnemonic device is any learning technique that aids memory. Something as simple as learning your A-B-C's in a little sing-song voice or just a constant beat of something, associated with an object, time, or place.

[Snap, fire, snap, no fire, snap, fire]

I want to know, Vatheon, what exactly makes you think you'll remember this place. Or, alternatively, what makes you think you will forget? I believe there's nothing stopping you from forgetting anything. It's all power of will, really.

After all, if you can memorize something as simple as your A-B-C's and answers to a test, what makes you think you can't memorize events that happen to you? Here we all are, stuck in this bubble, all that's guiding some of us are memories of the past, present, and sometimes future.

[A snort as he stops snapping and plays with the small ball of fire in his hand, fingers threading through it before he gives his wrist a flick and it disappears. Picking up the SFC now, the face of Axel looks down at it with a razor sharp grin.]

Got it memorized, have you? Tell me so.
