I went to a restaurant where you pre-order your food; appetizers, entrees, sides, drinks, and desserts all at once. It's a really nice restaurant, but they were out of the one dessert that I liked on the menu. It wasn't my favorite dessert, but I kinda wanted it anyway even though I probably would have been too full to eat dessert.

I had a wonderful dinner, and I'm done with academic obligations for 4 months. I feel so at peace and so warm and fuzzy. If I had someone to wrap my arms around, I would slowly, silently, and happily cry myself to sleep.

I have been inexplicably happy for several days now, and it's wonderful. It's been building for awhile, ever since I got back from Princeton and Philadelphia. I think I actually must have a more severe than average case of seasonal anxiety.
