The Foreign Affairs committee had called for Mr. Abdelrazik to appear before it next month as a witness and hoped to enforce that demand by getting a Speaker's warrant if the government continued to block his return to Canada

I think I am currently crankiest about the surprise of the court that it had been lied to by CSIS about the reliability of a witness (in the local case of a security certificate). Really, they are surprised that when you agree to the ability of the government to hid behind claims of security that they abuse that already ridiculous power?

See, I perhaps should have something to say about naivete in that context, but I'm just impressed that he's speaking out as emphatically as he is now.
