[Tammy is in the orchard, checking out the apples. She's got the look of someone thinking very deeply about something, but is apparently distracted pretty easily when she hears something moving around near her. She peers around a tree and spots Jacob, and even for her, now, after seeing everything she's seen so far...

...yeah, a winged bird-guy still makes her pause for a minute.]

[She takes it, but there's clear hesitation as she does so, and she doesn't bite into it yet, but simply holds it.]

I've gotten kind of wary of the food around here. Some of it...seemed kind of fond of talking.

Well, I've already had some of these, so either they're safe or its just a delayed reaction thing. Haven't heard any of them talking, either.

Oh. That's reassuring then.

[She takes a bite, and looks a bit surprised as she swallows.]

No problem, but I assume they're just here for anyone to take. Or, at least, no one's given me any trouble about it so far.

Hopefully they won't. Trouble in a place like this would be pretty damn terrifying, I'd think.

[She takes a bite of the apple, chews, swallows, and offers him a shrug.]

*He raises an eyebrow and cants his head a bit.*

Anything in particular I should worry about?

Literally losing your head and finding that you have a scarecrow body. And apparently there are weapons freely available here. Anyone can just run around and get one.

The heads or the weapons?

Any of the above.

Well, the head thing was Halloween. Festive, right? People's heads just suddenly separated from their body and attached themselves to scarecrows. Had to go to the healers to sort it out.

And I don't know much about the weapons, I haven't gone looking for them. I don't think I want to be near the place where people can pick up a gun or sword or whatever you can get around here.

Alright I'll...keep that in mind, I guess.
I can't say the weapons thing is all that different from my own world, though. Just less swords and more guns.

This place seems pretty heavy into the medieval thing, except there's electrical outlets. Go figure.
